    Default Hello all

    Hello,

Thought I should finally make an account and introduce myself. My name is Kyle, I am a crewchief on H-60 Helicopters in the Navy. I been shaving with a "shavette" for awhile and decided I would like to try a true straight razor so here I am. I have to shave everyday so I might as well enjoy it. I recently bought a strop and razor from straight razor designs and cant wait to use it but slightly reserved about messing up a nice razor with my lack of knowledge. Can't learn if you dont try, right?. Thanks for reading.

Welcome to SRP Redcane. I worked on helicopters myself for the Army. Don't worry about "messing up" a razor. As long as you keep water out of the scales, dry off the blade after use and don't drop it, you're golden. Enjoy the ride.
