That would have been a nightmare, everyone being called Norman and all. Imagine tea time with all the kids out playing, 20 mums go outside to call their kids "norman, it's tea time", all the kids call out "who me?"

I always wondered what Australians called us.
The English call us Paddies
The Scottish call us Tims
The Americans call us Micks
We get called a lot worse too! Lol
We call you blokes Paddies...Well I call my two best mates of Irish descent Paddy, and of course I get called Taffy by them. Now my cousins...My cousins are related by direct descent to that great Irishman Ned Kelly, Australian hero of the underdog and main man of folklore stories nationwide. We here seem to revere our criminals and forget all about the crime fighters. Superman, Batman and Wonder woman would probably be stoned in streets if they showed their faces around here :).

Quoting myself from another post but just something I like to share.
"I never imagined straight shaving would have so much to it or indeed that I'd be on an Internet forum discussing it.
Great wee community you have here. I've not even been on 24 hours yet and I've got so much advice and support.
And nobodies made me feel stupid, even though I do know very little"
So thanks guys
One thing I love about the Irish that always makes me smile in a good way ...(warning strong mature language....beware F bombs ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zs8QKXtCN9w .
Excellent! Some of my favourite scene's in that movie right there. :)
