Hello from Northern Ireland
Hi guys, first post on the forum.
I'm pretty new to straight razor shaving. I bought a blue beards revenge shavette style razor as a cheap introduction to see if I liked it. I use feather DE blades in it, snapped in half. It gives a good shave though I'm still working on my technique.
I decided to buy a cut throat razor and since I don't have a lot of money I decided to go for an old one and refurb it.
While having a few beers and browsing EBay I saw one which I picked up for very little.
I've got some pics but not sure how to upload them on this. Not sure of the make, it says "Dispatch" on the blade.
It's in good shape just needs a clean up and probably honed.
Should I try and hone myself or get it done professionally first?

I did once see a man shaving in the bathroom of a whetherspoons! Lol
No major parts missing, just a face on fire. Maybe I shouldn't do a second pass with a new blade.
I was hoping it was only noobs like me who had bad shaves.
