    Default Hello from Sweden!

    Hi guys, first post here.
Sort of new to straight shaving, been doing it for a year now.
Got tired of those Gillette multiblades, so an acquaintance gave me an old Eskilstuna razor.
Got a couple of them by now, though the current favourite is a German razor marked "Veriso REG."

I enjoy making stuff, so I'll probably post razor stands, strops, boxes and stuff I make.

Other interests are music, malt whisky and food (mostly tea and/or cake). Also got a soft spot for British Sci-fi.

    Cheers,
    Max

G'day max it sounds like you're definitely an old hand at the shaving part by now. Or at least you should be. And the craft stuff fits right in with a lot of us here too. Food and drink. There are a few threads on those subjects, be sure to checkout the breakfast thread http://straightrazorpalace.com/finer-things-life/100170-here.html and the tea thread http://straightrazorpalace.com/finer-things-life/62855-Tea-anyone.html at the very least.
Enjoy your stay, and don't be afraid to ask and offer advice. We like to be a helpful bunch wherever possible. You don't happen to smoke a pipe by any chance do you?!

Hello and welcome, as Mick said, there are a few threads that should tickle your fancy, and.feel free to ask questions.
What sort of sci fi? Torchwood etc, or more early Dr who?
Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Greetings Max. Welcome to SRP. Pleased to have you aboard.

As Mick has already noted, you'll find a lot of threads here that tickle your fancy besides straight razor shaving.

    Välkommen!

Where in Sweden are you at?

    British Sci-fi, like Red Dwarf?

Cheers guys. I'll definitely check those threads out. Sorry, no pipe for me. Regarding the Sci-fi part it's mainly Doctor Who, both Classic and new.

Lemur, I'm in Gothenburg. Postar (sällan) redan på wetshaving som Earl Grey. Får bli aktiv där med.
