Thread: Hello from Michigan

I did purchase the smaller hone, but did so with the understanding that I wouldn't be using it for quite some time. From all of the research that I have done up to this point the pastes should help refresh my razors edge for quite some time. I have decided that over time i will likely purchase a few more stones and razors to practice on. I enjoy everything that I have read so far and take enjoyment sharpening my knives and think that the straight razor maintenance and all that comes with it fits nicely in my interests and hobbies. I have really liked reading and watching the videos I have come across and can see this as a rewarding lifelong activity!
