    Default Hello from BBRRRRRRR Canada!!

    Good evening all SRP members!!

I've been lurking for the last few months, and finally decided that it was time to say hello!

A bit about myself ... originally from northern Ontario, Canada, but due to my job, have moved around Canada, and lived in every province from Alberta to Quebec.

Thank you everyone for all of your information on the forums! You've all been a great help in deciding to get into straight razor shaving. I even managed to convince my groomsmen that a straight razor set would be a perfect gift for the wedding. I've been getting lots of practice, and have managed to turn shaving from a mundane chore into a daily revitalization.

    Cheers!

Welcome from a fellow Canadian and congrats on your upcoming wedding You won't regret getting into straight shaving…you may regret the AD's that can come along with it though…lol.

Thank you all! Excited to be here and learn what I can about the shaving experience.

Raol, I did spend some time in Edmonton when it was -50C back in 2009, but right now I hang my hat in Winterpeg, and it's been bloody cold everywhere! Last year we had frost on the inside of our bedroom wall, so all of this arctic air has not been extremely welcome in our home.

    Cheers.

Hi and welcome. Were at the other end of the scale. My neighbour told me it was 42C today. Some where in the middle might be nice. Hope the wedding goes well. Ed

Hey and welcome to the forum. I think there are a few members in the Peg. Thanks for sharing the cold, it has crept this far east -29C this morning.

Welcome. I probably shouldn't tell, we don't have any snow on the west and there hasn't been frost for weeks. +9 yesterday.
