    Talking hello from silverloaf

Hi all, I hope I'm doing this right! I thought it was about time to introduce myself. Im not new to straights but definitely new to forums! It seems like there's always so little time to post and too much to say. No time like the present, but as a newbie to the forum and not sure how everything works I will try to be "swift about hearing, slow about speaking", looking forward to what comes. I will be spending most of my time over at the restorations and customs section since that's what I do for a living. Welcome to the other newbies to the forum and thank you to all the senior members who have made it a success. Best regards all, morgan

Oh man! I was fine not thinking about the weather, now look at me
Its cold and rainy here, has been the past couple days. We had gotten about a foot of snow and now its almost all gone. Good weather for sittin inside and working on a batch of razors, drooling thinking of the test shaves!

Yeah, I look forward to inclement weather for the same reasons
I suppose it is inevitable. No superstorms, blizzards, hurricanes, or tornados, please!
The power might go out? Seems to kill a "razor day" !

I just got a razor in the mail from Silverloaf today. He restored a 6/8" Joseph Rodgers & Sons that has a really cool grind with a flat along the spine. Rescaled in horn. Just shaved with it and it is fantastic. His restoration work is top notch and his custom stuff looks incredible as well. In the interest of saving time and not taking pics of it myself, here are a couple that he took when he listed it for sale:
