    Hi everyone

    Been lurking on here for a few days reading all of the interesting posts and learning lots! Wow, thank you to all who have shared their knowledge and experiences! I just got my first straight razor for Christmas and looking forwards to trying it. A bit nervous as well...

    Welcome!!

    Glad you joined in. There's a lot of good info here to help with that first shave. A couple are linked below in my signature line. Ones an article by Lynn and then a video by gssixgun (Glen). The video is the shave test, but it's more than that, so enjoy!!
