    Hello everyone,
    I had been active here before for a few years (around 2006-2009), and can't believe how much has changed (yay, YouTube!) and also how little has changed: it's the same amazingly helpful, welcoming place.

    During my haitus, I've mostly used the Merkur Slant-Bar DE, but have kept my two straights in shaving shape and used them on some weekends and lazy vacations. Now that I'm back, I've wolfed down the Stroptober and Ja-Norton threads and feel like a happy beginner again.

    Thanks to gssixgun and gugi for helping me get my account back on track, and thanks to you all for keeping the place here and keeping it great.
