    Default New Straight Razor Shaver and never looking back

    Hello, I am in central Kansas and I just received my first Straight Razor for Christmas and have gotten the best shave ever from day 1. It is a cheapy off brand shavette style but I'm already getting much better shaves with it than with my cartridge razor. I am currently looking into getting a proper straight razor, but I don't plan to ever go back.

    Good decision! I've never used a shavette, but am glad you are enjoying it. Get a good shave ready vintage from the classifieds or buy a new from SRD or another reputable source. And then enjoy!
