New Old Guy
Hey, from the rocky mountain west. I thought I'd join the SRP as a contributing member and not just leverage the information available on this wonderful site. I still pull around the load of a day job, and then some, so I can't spend the time here I'd like, but I do hope that I can add something along the way. I've been through all the double edge and triple edge razors looking for the best shave available, but not until I started to slow down and appreciate life a little better did I turn to the straight razor last year. What a nice change. Less irritation in a trouble spot under my chin and a rekindled appreciation for fine, intricate things like the pursuit of the sharpest edge possible. I found the the SRP to be my happy place and look forward to a few laughs along the way.

Welcome to the forum!
I'm looking forward to read some of your experiences because it seems you shave with a straight longer than meSometimes I feel normal.
Then it's time to lay down and wait for it to pass.

This old fart in the Northwest says welcome also.
