    Hi and welcome to the forum.
    What a wonderfull thing, choosing shaving with a straight razor as a hobby.
    It does beat basket weaving, I wanted to write origami too, but not really certain about that one.
    Using someone's razor? I did it once, an exception, and had a rash beyond belief. Just to be clear, a facial razor....

    Anyways, good luck finding the right razor and have fun while learning.
    Sometimes I feel normal.
    Then it's time to lay down and wait for it to pass.

    Larry at Whipped Dog is an excellent source for razors smaller that 4/8. He keeps an eye out for unusual razors as well as the more common ones. And his prices fit tight budgets admirably.
