    Default Hello From Nebraska

Howdy, I'm also over on B&B if you recognize the screen name. When I first got into traditional shaving about a year and a half ago after getting away from carts. I started out with a shavette, even before the "wet shaving" part just using canned goo. I eventually got into the brush and soap and away from the Shavette and into D/E style shaving. But now I'm ready to get back to my roots and do some real straight shaving. I shied away from the Shavette because the comfort of the shaves wasn't very consistent. I have been wanting a real straight for quite some time now and I finally have one. I'm excited to get back to the challenge and actually feel a sense of accomplishment with my shaves, as while I love D/E, its getting to be about as boring as cartridges. Kind of the same old thing every time. SO, in ending here, I will be asking a lot of questions about the aspect of real straight shaving, but I am no means a newbee to wet shaving. Hopefully I'm not too rusty at the straight style, but we'll soon find out.
    Thanks for Reading Gents,

    Nolan E. Green
