Howdy from Texas
Hello all, just thought I'd stop in and introduce myself. My name is Jaime and I am new to straight razor shaving. I have only shaved twice and it went fairly well considering some of the stories I've read. I do wish I would have found this place before i first shaved, although I did do some research and watched some videos. I look forward to learning more and have been reading tons of great info here. Some things I love are bushcrafting, leather work, and wood work. I never thought shaving could be addictive, but i can't wait till it's that time again. Thanks for stopping by, have a blessed one.

Welcome JamieCobos. Ask many questions, there are many answers. Also, there are many SRP members in Texas. Modify your bio so it shows where in Texas you are and the members will come out of the woodwork. There should be some mentors in your area as well and any one on one session you can have with them is worth days of reading on the forum. Also, they just might be willing to check your razor(s) for edge quality and re hone one or two for you. Have fun and enjoy!
