    Default New from the Netherlands

    Hey peeps,

I'm new to straight razors since a friend of me got me one for my birthday.
I've always been into knives and recently into flashlights, and now I rly like to learn more about shaving the real way.
I'm thinking of getting some honing stones for my knives and for my new straight razor, I got my eyes set on a DMT D6C, DMT D6E and a Belgian Coticule.
Getting hold of any bigger DMT's or lower grit whetstones is quite expensive here.
Any thoughts are appreciated, and ill try to become a bit more active on the forums.

    Greetings from the Netherlands!

Welkom like speedster said, this is the right place to learn everything you want/need about SR shaving.. One piece of advice though, take a look at the wiki http://straightrazorpalace.com/srpwi...zor_Place_Wiki

This'll bring you up to speed and gives an insight on what is needed to enjoy the experience.
