    Welcome!

There are a lot of UK based SRP users.

I'm not that far from you, Just over in Coventry. The forum is active, And more like a family than a forum.

Have a browse of the auction 101 threads, and the shave of the day threads.

If your totally new and looking for equipment, check each subforum. Razors, strops, hones and brushes.

One of the better storefronts for new equipment is Invisible Edge.

    Introduction to razors

The other guy I would recommend is Neil Miller, but he has just come out of hospital and may not be taking on work.

Any and every Chemist will sell Witchhazel. It's cheap £1-2, Use it after shaving to clean your skin and stop bleeding. It stings a lot and smells like cheap whiskey. It's the high street replacement for an alum block that is hard to find.

Any and every Chemist will sell mineral oil. It's just unscented baby oil. Use it to protect your blade from corrosion after shaving.

    Aftershave.

Boots have a selection of 3 splashes. £4
The Perfume Shop did have an offer on Joop AS sets for £14 with balm and shower gel as well.

    Have fun with your shaving
