Hello, I come from Italy are Stephen Suprani just joined. I ask you to immediately apologize and I hope you have patience with me 'cause I'll use' often google translator to communicate with you and therefore I will let you 'smile often. This pleases me because 'in Italy we are happy! I am passionate about traditional shaving and above are a doting owner of Mastro Livi razors some of which I am a fan and I have the good fortune to know personally. For this reason I have been removed from the forum where it is forbidden to speak Italian razors of the great Italian master. I have read a lot of interesting information in this forum is the best in the world and so I ask you if you like hospitality. For now, thank you very much and I wish you good day.

Welcome to Straight Razor Place, Stefano!
I am very happy to welcome here a new Italian fellow and, even better, another gentleman passionate about Mastro Livi razors, our national pride about straight razor making! Here you will see there are so many gentlemen who appreciate the art of our beloved Mastro Livi and therefore you will be in very good company! Welcome!
I guess it should be fine if you could show us your Mastro Livi razors and post the pictures in the club. I am sure the other fellows here will appreciate them all, including me, of course!
It is a shame you have been expelled from that forum because you were talking about Mastro Livi. You know the story of "nemo propheta in patria" (latin for "nobody is believed to be a prophet in his own country"), right? We all know they are missing a lot or maybe they are just envious for the fact they are not as great as Mastro Livi is as well as they would like to have one of his razors but cannot or cannot appreciate how a real straight razor is.
Welcome to Straight Razor Place! I am sure you will be warmly welcomed here and I am sure you will read and learn a lot about straight razor shaving. This undoubtedly is the best place in the world about straight razor shaving!

    Welcome to the forum...

From my experience on this forum so far, you won't need to apologise for your English or using Google translator. Everyone here I have encountered is very friendly and gentlemanly... and a gentleman sees a man's intentions not his mastery of grammar, especially if it is a second language. Im sure you would be the same if we tried to communicate with you in Italian.

I hope you find many new friends on this site, as I have.

    Hi Stephen.

Thank you for mentioning of Mastro Livi. I am also newcomer to the forum, though I registered in last year. Actually this is my first participation in the forum in my life.
Please provide me with information about razors of Mastro Livi. It will be very interesting for me as well known straight razor brands in Europe are from England, France and Germany.

Isn't true what you have wrote, the topic was very hot for other reason...BUT on italian forum it's possible (as here) talk about mastro livi's razors without problem provided as long as the discussion maintains respect for the opinions of others and has no ulterior motives.

This is the past....excuse me for this little digression
    Welcome again

I am sorry to point this out, but I guess Stefano is right. And, in case the topic was very hot, I guess there must have been a reason as it seems I know very well the reason why. I have no intention about spoiling Straight Razor Place with such a silly subject because here we are mainly interested in talking about straight razors instead of banning members or competing one each other in order to prove who is the best or deleting messages about "clearly banned" subjects. This place is a real free place and we all here love to grow up together by sharing and by learning. Everyone is welcome and everyone can freely talk about everything, including Mastro Livi who is very revered and highly regarded here by everyone.
I am very sorry to say that, but this is not true in other places.
To all the gentlemen members of Straight Razor Place, please accept my apologizes for this post. I will not go into this again.

I also thank the Kratos86 for the message of welcome and respect his opinion. However, if I said those things is' cause I tried them directly. And 'possible for everyone to go and see with your own eyes. I am here to share this passion, however, and listen to the valuable experience of all. Thank you again!
