Thread: Hello all the way from Turkey (Temporary)

Hello all!

My name is David and im currently "Deployed" to Turkey. I put "" because it feels like a vacation from my current base, Ramstein in Germany. Any who I am originally from Southern California near the the good old city of Long Beach. I decided i wanted to learn how to SR shave because cartridges irritate my neck like there is no tomorrow, and in my line of work, you got to look clean and sharp at all times and the barbers out here do a heck of a job with a SR lining my hair up and i want to learn how to do that to. That and i hate my uniform rubbing against my neck and it irritating the crap out of it. So after a few discussions with the wife i went ahead and picked up some gear from SRD. Hopefully i can get a smooth face that my wife enjoys to touch and no more redness around my neck once i properly learn to shave.

Welcome to SRP, David! Going with a straight is a great way to relieve neck irritation. Just be sure to use light pressure and not do too many passes. Everything you need to know is right here, and if you can't find something just ask. Everyone here is so helpful. Cheers!
