    Default G'day from Sydney

    G'day everyone!
my name is Alex, just joining this great looking forum from Sydney, Australia. I've been a cigar hobbyist for the last few years, being a member of a few cigar forums, and through cigars I've started to appreciate some more 'finer' things in life, one of them being the lost art of manly shaving. so I last year I ditched the canned glob and got a brush and some proper cream, and haven't looked back, and am really excited to have it as a new hobby! looking forward to learning from all of you, and very soon will be ditching the cartridge razor for a straight or DE.
as I said, I am a big cigar fanatic, also enjoy a good rum or scotch. thats about it from me.

good to meet you all, and thanks for having me!
    Alex

G'day Alex, welcome to the forum. I've been known to enjoy a good cigar and I've got a humidor with about 50 or so to keep me going. Plenty of Aussies here and a heap of great information.

    Hi Alex,
Lots of friendly advice here for your upcoming purchase of a DE or straight.
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Awesome, good to meet another BOTL already. What's your smoke preference? I'm getting more into Cubans these days.

    Welcome Alex,

I grew up in sydney, before moving to melbourne 5 years ago.

I also have a soft spot for dark spirits and cigars. The wife has me on rations so I only buy single sticks, almost exclusivly cubans. I find myself gravitating towards vegas robaina on most occasions. I've had my share of Don alejandro's, its always worth the several hours it takes to finish.

    Regards,

    Neal.
