Shave preference, is a wet shave, use art of shaving pre and post, with a Gillette fusion.
Looking to spice it up with the straights.

I've been to Penticton! That was back in the late 70's!!!
You will find members here of all different backgrounds, ages and occupations from all corners of the world and all with a quest for more knowledge about using and maintaining a straight razor!
The questions that you need answers for are in the WIKI! If you do your research there then you will be more informed when you ask a question later on!!

As far as a beginner's razor there should be some here in the Classifieds however I also have a friend who usually has some nice beginner's razors at an affordable price! PM me if you would like to know more!
Of course you will need a beginner's strop and a brush, bowl and shaving soap! Sorry but the canned Goop doesn't cut it using a straight!!
Enjoy the ride! It's a long strange trip but it's well worth the effort!
