Hello for Guelph, Ontario
Hello All,
I've browsed the forums for awhile and decided I should stop being a hermit and join the community. I've been using a DOVO shavette for the last 8 months and have been loving it. I am currently making the jump to using a SR; I have a Sight Unseen from Whipped Dog on the way. I am a little nervous about stroping and possibly damaging the edge. I have been doing a lot of reading and have watched a fair number of videos and think I have the concept down. If anyone has any tips or tricks about stroping, transitioning from shavettes or SR's in general I would be happy for the help.

Alas... after a ton of reading and video watching, one just needs to jump in and figure out what's going wrong when you get there lol!! All I can say is be patent and enjoy the ride

Blade should be here early this week according to the tracker. Right now I use edwin jagger soap and a brush from fendirhan. I've used edwin jagger for awhile with my shavette anand love it Originally Posted by earcutter
