Hello from Orting, WA

Dropping a line to say hello now that I'm newly registered. I've never used a straight razor in my life but I've recently acquired an interest in it and have been trying to do research on how to best go about starting up. So far this site has had some of the best information available so I'm thinking I'd like to stick around for awhile.

Welcome aboard. It's a great hobby and there is a wealth of info and good people here. I would highly recommend goig through the Straight Razor Place Library - Straight Razor Place Library and reading all you can. If you are still bitten with the bug, we have two different meet-ups planned for this year. Welcome. The straight razor shave has been the gold standard well over 100 years. I understand your interest completely. Enjoy, there a lot of us here collectively we can answer any questions that come up.
