Thanked: 0Hello from Massachusetts
Hello everybody! My name is Cody, and I've been interested in straight razors ever since I first saw my dad's razor as a kid. I was fascinated. I've been using shave soap and cream for years now, because you just can't beat them, but I am just getting started with a real razor. Looking forward to a lot of interesting learning experiences!

Thanked: 4830Welcme. There is a library tab at the top that will take you to a very large amount of information. The members here are very sharing, so ask what you need to know.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

sounds like a plan, I'd be up for that... I've been honing sort of on my own for the past 4 months, using Glenn (gssixgun) and Lynn's videos for the most part... come a long way for sure, through trial and error mostly, but from what I've heard from the more experienced people here on the forum... nothing beats a hands on, in-person honing session with an experienced mentor...so if we could organize something like that, it would definitely be a HUGE benefit to us all.

p.s. glad you like my pic, haha SR shaving, and shooting/Concealed Carry are my 2 best hobbies, actually more of a lifestyle....I'm fairly active on the shooting forums as well, Northeast Shooters is an excellent forum for Mass and New England gun owners, if your into firearms
