New to SRP! Hello everyone!
Hello All,
I am completely new to the world of straight razors and such. I currently live near Boston and the only place I have found that has any notion if SR's is "The Art if Shaving" but they are very expensive. I am interested in getting into the SR world but am not sure where to start. I have already received some good advice from members here on SRP. Happy shaving and I look forward to participating on this forum!

Welcome to SRP!
As you will soon find out real brand new straight razors are sometimes hard to come by, especially the lower priced models ($80-$125). when you are first starting out you might be better served by finding a vintage razor in our classifieds or try one of whippeddog's sight unseen offers. having a well honed edge is more important and having a beautiful shiny razor.
