Thanked: 4Randy in Idaho
Hi all. Hope to join in and get some advice on getting started. I have a new Hess #35 razor, and a very old strop (which I cannot find). The razor came out of the box honed to some state, but is not shave-ready. I'll post some pictures in the appropriate forum and hopefully get some equipment answers there. I have reviewed all of Lynn Abram's videos, and have looked at a bunch of others. I just got set up with a DE razor set up that I will work with for a while before taking the first straight blade stroke on my face for certain. Fun times ahead (without too much blood I hope).

Welcome to SRP Randy. Don't know where abouts in Idaho you are, but if you PM Gssixgun, aka Glen, and can arrange a meeting, you'll learn more in an hour or two with him than hours reading through the forum. If not possible, then post any questions you have and the gentlemen of this forum will glady help you out.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???
