Thread: Hello from the Bluegrass state

Hi I'm just now joining the site officially, but I have been lurking for a few months and have been using the reference section a lot. I can't tell you how much I appreciate having a site like this. I've wet shaved since I was a pup (back when dinosaurs ruled) and had tried using a straight razor in the 80's without much success or comfort. A bit less than a year ago, I thought I would give straights a try again, bought a shave ready Dovo from SRD, a vintage strop on eBay and jumped in. I now have bought a dozen razors(all from eBay), hones, bowls, and brushes, and learned to use them from the collected wisdom I have gleaned from this site. Hope to get to know you all better - Norm
