Thread: New guy from New Jersey

First a big thank you for starting this site! So much knowledge and good stuff to help someone get started. I've been wet shaving with a DE for about 3 years with a Merkur long handle and just received my new Feather ASD2 last week. Very excited to learn a new skill with straight razor shaving as transitioning to wet shaving has been very rewarding. I'm currently waiting on my site unseen and 3 inch strop from Larry at whipped dog, and very eager to get those first few strop sessions and strokes on the cheek under my belt. Thanks again guys for all the advice and direction.

Thanks coach! Don't know why I waited so long to grab a straight, but at least I made it. Spend most of my time in Linden and Rahway, but do a fair share in Bergen.
