Did you strop it before you shaved with it?

How did you prep your face and beard before you shaved?

As you can see there are many variables that will affect your shave!

In answer to your question:

'IF' the razor was 'properly' honed and 'IF' the honed razor was 'Properly' stropped and 'If' you didn't alter the edge that was properly honed and stropped, and 'IF' you didn't use too high of an angle so that you were 'Scraping' your whiskers instead of 'Shaving' them then the razor should have given you a very nice shave!

I've done some testing and haven't re-stropped for 3 days of constant use of the same razor and gotten decent shaves!

I can't say it enough! And that is that this Art has a Huge Learning Curve and that it takes Patience!

Hang in there, give it another go and be very careful how you strop, prep and the angles!

If you still can't get a decent shave, PM me!
Will do Cudarunner

And yes he stropped and honed it and it went really well the first and second shave just the one last night that bit me.

Also I am drying it and putting a tiny bit of oil on but there are already a couple marks on it like rust but not just discoloration must be my fault some how but can seem to think of how i keep the razor in my room to which is very dry

Will take some pictures when I get home and after the next shave give you a pm so you can have a look and get some advice from ya

Thanks Heaps!!
