Default Hello from Cumbria, Northern England.

    Greetings from England's Lake District.

I've haven't been using a straight razor for very long and currently shave with a TI Dreadnaught 7/8, Bartmann 7/8, Vintage Wade & Butcher Special 5/8 and a 13/16” Bengal extra hollow ground straight razor. I'm really enjoying the shaving experience and trying out different blades. I'm intrigued by the different feel and handling of different razors from France, Germany & England and I'm really looking forward to trying out some Japanese blades.

    Best wishes. Stephen.

Welcome to SRP Fizog! Sounds like you have some good razors to work with.

welcome! nice lineup already, your sentiments wont change im sure, i still love trying out new razors all the time. have you considered any wedge grinds yet? the comparison between hollows and wedges is also very enjoyable to experience. enjoy the shaves!

Hi Steve welcome to the SRP, a Cumbrian Man I see I remember traveling up to Bassenthwaite many years ago and picking up my old Lakeland Terrier from a old hill farmer a Mr John Cowan.

That's right Jamie and I'm also the owner of Eden Brewery in Penrith though we have a Boarder Terrier not a Lakeland.
