Hello people long time reader of the forum, just now got around to registering. I have a straight that is dinged, have yet to get it repaired. I have been DE shaving for awhile, I enjoy both and miss the straight. The straight is a Dovo Best Quality 6/8 the DE is a Merkur 180 long handle. I have tried numerous creams and the two that I have stuck with are TOBS sandalwood and Proraso sandalwood. I use an Edwin Jaggar badger brush and an assortment of bowels for mixing cream and keeping the brush warm.

Sounds like you're having a great time shaving to me!

One type of shaving cream I've come to enjoy is The Art of Shaving Sandlewood. I'm in Denver and they have a local store here but I get it on Amazon (I'm a Prime Member) and am able to save some change and I don't have to drive to the store! :-)
