Hi and welcome. Look at the edge straight down under bright light. If you can see the actual edge it will need a honing. Pressure and angle are the 2 biggest issues for new Sr shavers. Pressure is just enough to wipe the lather off. For angle start flat against the face and slowly increase till you feel it's right. Good luck
