Thanked: 78New guy from Somme Bay
Hello to all. I'm French, from the region of Picardy. I'm retired. I began in the art of straight razor shaving in 2008. I'm also interested in the restoration of razors as a hobby and mostly in their history.
I also collect, a bit too much maybe.
My equipment:
- Some (tens of) razors especially of the 20th century, many French, about ten Swedes, some English, some Germans and 4 or 5 Spanish.
- A set of whetstones Naniwa SS
- A "Pegasus" strop and some others vintage.
I read this forum for several years and I taught it many of my modest knowledge. In spite of my difficulties with the English language I have now decided to jump in and register.

Thanked: 1184Welcome in. Your English is good enough for here. Maybe even better than mine at times :<0) Hope you can post pics. If you been reading here that long you know we love them.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Welcome in,
Your English is plus que suffisant (and that is what Google translate can do for me )
I think I speak for many if not most of us when I say it is our delight to have a fellow with experience join us.
Please come in and make yourself at home.
I look forward to learning and sharing,
and I hope to see you around the forum.
Regards

Relax and Enjoy!
