    Long time lurker here. Finally decided to register.

    I took the plunge a few months back after reading all the hype on wicked_edge. The promise of less irritation, fewer ingrown hairs, and using better quality products on my skin seemed pretty appealing. I did a bit of homework, and ended up starting off with a 'sight-unseen' from Larry at Whipped Dog, a strop from Lynn, and enough Amazon CrOx to last five lifetimes.

    After bleeding my way through the initial learning curve, I upgraded to a nice new Dovo and picked up a few stones to keep everything sharp.

    I'll gradually start dipping my toes into the honing process, but for now I'll just sit back and enjoy my nice, smooth, and no longer bloody face.

    Hello six, 10 here :<0) That first week can be a killer. Your over one hump now just take the rest in stride. Welcome to the chat at SRP.

    Welcome to SRP, what part of Arizona do you live in as we here in Tucson are beginning to discuss possible dates for an get-together?
    Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

    Tucson seems like the hot spot (no pun intended) for SR shavers in AZ.
    I stumbled upon Dr. Matt's videos last week, and was thinking of sending some stuff down there when the time comes.

    welcome, I will be moving down to Arizona in the next week or so, yep the Tucson area...ish. Glad to know that SRP is alive and well down in the desert.
