    Hi all.
    My name is Steve, from the UK. Been wanting to get a Straight razor for years, thought I would look here for advice and tips before I take the plunge.

    I've got plenty of questions, hopefully i will find most of the answers by searching the forum but there are a few I wouldn't mind asking so I can get on with purchasing my first straight razor.

    Hi and welcome. Make sure that you get a shave ready razor. If unsure of the vendor check as lots of people get stung with useless razors on the first purchase.
