My favorite part is when they figure out that after a career in the military (back when being heavily tattooed was like a requirement) I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Chemistry degree. These days I do consulting specializing in phosphoramidite/oligonucleotide synthesis and GMP lab processes. Love meeting new clients for the first time.
