Thread: Finally being social

Hello everyone. I have been around for awhile and never got around to introducing myself. I started out shaving with a DE and eventually found my way here. I got curious enough to give straights a try and started cruising the antique store for mantiques. I took the hard path and started with an old muller Spanish point made in Solingen and honed it myself. This of course was a very steep learning curve and it took quite awhile to get a comfortable shave. But at this point after honing and shaving with my own razors and making mistakes along the way I get the best most comfortable shaves of my life. It's great taking something that used to be a chore and making it a meditation that I look forward to. Everyone here has been an inspiring mentor whether new or old and I thank you.
