Happy to be here!
I've been wet shaving for nearly a year, but I've decided to step up to the plate and move into straight razor shaving! I know next to nothing about razor care except what I've been picking up here and there. I have several vintage straights an varying degrees of wear and care. So, I've got some homework to do. Thanks for having me!

Welcome. You'll find a world of information in the Library section. I started with some of the basic "if you're new" and general articles and videos. There are a group of the friendliest, most helpful folks here you'll ever find. Hope your foray into SR shaving is a permanent and successful one, and again, welcome.

Welcome. That "Happy To Be Here" feeling won't last long once money starts flying from you bank account like morals from Miley Cyrus' lifestyle due to RAD and HSD and all the lotions and lathers that you will start accumulating.

Welcome Luecke,
I am new here as well. No straight razor yet. I have been using double edge razors for a few weeks and learning on here about pre shave prep that I am using now to carry over to SR shaving. Lots of great info here and very nice helpful people.
I am in St. Louis. The founder of this site is in Cape Girardeau MO.
