    Default Long time/ first time

Hello all. Love the site. I've been a fan for years now. I started off with a DE several years ago and putted around the badger and blade forums. When my interest in straight razors matured and I was ready to take the plunge, I found this Mecca of straight razors. Since then I've been quietly observing. There is so much information here, I've never had the need to register and post a question! I recently bought a vintage razor and I'm in the process of restoring it (I'll be sharing that soon.) I've been shaving with a straight for about two years now. I started on a Hart 6/8 spike point and loved it. Now I'm ready to start a collection!

Glad to see you decided to jump in with both feet. Let us know how the restore goes.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Looking forward to updates on the restore. What kind of SR are you restoring?
