You certainly could not go wrong with the honemeisters who list on this site. They have some stellar reputations.

The honemeister you choose might depend on what kind of razor you are looking to get honed. Do you have, or plan on acquiring, something really valuable and high end? Are you looking to hone your great-grandfather's razor (a family heirloom)? Is the razor you want to hone a big wedge that its uneven (something that would be more difficulty and/or take longer to hone)?

If those 3 situations above apply, I would do some research -- on this site and on the internet -- and choose an established pro. If none of these situations apply (i.e., you have a straight forward razor that is not excessively valuable) you could probably give the razor to just about any honemeister/person with decent honing skills and it would probably turn out well.

To that end, if there is nothing overly valuable or complex about your razor, I willing to hone it for you for free. PM me if you are interested.

    Welcome to SRP.
    Phoenix you say?
That was the very first US city I visited.
I envy you the weather over there
It's what I think of every time I shuffle snow in the dark months...

Anyways, glad you decided to join us, we will try our best to help you get the best possible shaves!

Thank you all! Bjoernar, we are now in the midst of our monsoon season, with triple digit temperatures, high humidity, massive dust storms and the occasional torrential downpour. Oslo sounds pretty nice right now!
