Welcome to SRP! A lot has been said already, all of it good info. I'll only add that you should take it slow. Concentrate first on making a good lather, mapping your face, proper stropping, and then blade maintenance. That's not the same as honing your own razors. That's just learning to touch up the edge. Learning to hone properly is a big can of worms and should wait till you absolutely know that you are getting good consistent shaves. Honing razors is a totally different mindset and needs a lot of concentration to properly learn. My advice is start slow, stay slow and avoid the pitfalls that come with hurrying.
