Thanked: 0New member from New Jersey ** Need help please**
Hey guys so ive been reading a lot on these forums for months now and figured id finally register. I purchased a wapi on the Bay a few weeks ago after finally winning an auction I could afford. Unfortunately the wapi I purchased ended up getting stolen from my college dorm before I could even use the thing. So I guess I gotta wait a few more months to save up some money and finally get my first shave with a straight. Working full time and paying out of pocket for college doesn't allow me much spare cash to spend. But until then just saying hello to you all and thanks for the wealth of knowledge posted on these boards.
Ps if anyone has a wapi they can sell me I would be more than grateful. I only have about $30 to spend but I know eventually I will find another.

Thanked: 4826They are getting a little hard to find, and often for a pretty penny. I am sorry for your loss, it looks like you need to step up security. Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you can get an inexpensive shave ready blade, unlikely a Wapi, but a shaver all the same.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Even though the chances of The Whipped Dog having a wapi are too slim to figure check out his web site. He has sight unseen, generally ugly but perfectly serviceable razors at prices that even a tight budget can handle. Also equally cheap strop, etc. Give it a read and see what you think.

Hello, Danny, and welcome to Straight Razor Place. It is unfortunate that your razor was stolen. Oh, by the way, must you have a Wapienca? There are hundreds of vintage razor brands that you should also consider. Be careful buying on eBay until you know your way around the straight razor world. Look in the Classified section here and you might find a good starter razor.
