Thanked: 0Hello From Devon
Hi! I'm in Devon UK and have been lurking for a bit but was prompted to join in with a razor ID question.
I have a small collection of straights, mostly Sheffields, and hone my own with an evolving set up including slates, film and pastes.
My other great shaving fascination is with wedge blade SEs like the Wilkinson Empire, Rolls razor and my most exciting recent acquisition, a Darwin Deluxe.
I also have a nice collection of Valets!
Anyway, I know this place is a hotbed of enthusiasm and knowledge for straight razors, so thanks for having me aboard

Welcome and salutations. It sounds as if you will fit in here perfectly. I know that you kinda got off to a rocky start on the "identification" thing but it will get better. Post some pics of your SE/DE's here http://straightrazorpalace.com/shavi...ety-razor.html
We love to see and drool over "new" razors and there is a LOT to learn here from the Wiki to the Library and even once in a while from a member.SRP. Where the Wits aren't always as sharp as the Razors

Welcome aboard! As was stated, lots of good info here. The Straight Razor Place Library - Straight Razor Place Library is a rabbit hole of great depth. I'm still finding nuggets I have missed in it.
I would love to see some pictures of that Darwin Deluxe. The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.
