Hello from Northern California
Good evening! I've just joined the forum and thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Chris and I'm from the Lake Tahoe area of northern California. I've been lurking around here for a few months now, on and off, so I thought it's probably high time to come out from shadows and say hello!
I've just begun shaving with a straight razor after years of considering it, but already I've been helped along by some good advice I've read here. It seems like a great forum and I'm looking forward to learning and getting to know some of you as well.

Hehehe...I wouldn't say that I've learned to navigate anything just yet, not by a long stretch actually. It was really more down to just doing basic internet searches and seeing one or another of the results being a thread here on SRP. I'd go ahead and read the thread, which often might have links to other threads...and son on. Easy-peasy really. It's all still a bit of labyrinth to be honest, but I reckon that'll iron itself out as needs and curiosity require!
