Thanked: 4826Welcome. I am wondering why you think it doesn't have the best edge. Did you buy it from a reputable supplier. I can't help you on the classifieds question but suggest you read the classified rules. A section of the classifieds is member services. You will be able to find someone to hone there

Welcome to the forum, If you are on a tight budget, get your razor honed and save a while for another razor, we'll unless your current razor is not very good, post some more info and some pics of it and I am sure you will get some pointers on the razor itself.
And otherwise per RezDog 's post.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Pictures and a description are a must to get a decent, informed answer.

Welcome. Shaving with a straight is a skill that you must learn. When you first set out on your journey a bunch of different aspects can affect your shave. Lather, angles, pressure, stretching and the edge of the razor.
Keep reading. Watch videos and if it is the razor have it professionally honed

Welcome to SRP!
If you have a PayPal account all you have to do is click the 'Buy It Now' button in the listing. If no 'Buy It Now' button just click 'Contact Seller' to make arrangements for payment, shipping, etc. directly with the seller.
Also, you need to start out with a professionally honed razor. If yours isn't professionally honed I would suggest buying one that is to; 1.) use as a benchmark for the one you currently have and 2.) finally get a decent shave.
As mentioned above read plenty of post and watch videos to help you on your journey, don't be afraid to ask questions, that is what the rest of us are here for...to help.Last edited by DoughBoy68; 08-29-2014 at 04:35 PM.
