Welcome & congrats! It doesn't take much & your hooked! When Lynn created SRP, he created a monster w/o knowing it! It just goes to show you what one action can do. I love SRP & wouldn't be on any other forum! I have never been on the other one but I just know this one is full of much more highly regarded & smarter members. I don't know how to explain it but it just speaks for itself. What can I say? You are on the best straight razor forum known & I'm proud to be a member here. Utilize the beginners part in the Library & also learn the stropping technique on here, then when you're comfortable, watch the honing videos & learn how to hone on here. You will learn how to do it all yourself & won't have to send your razor out to be sharpened. I don't know if you have a straight yet but if so, you will want a spares that you will have something when you initially send you razor out for honing. You will need something to shave with. Good luck & take care!
