    Welcome aboard.
My mom is from Manitoba..... So I knew from visiting as a child what it was like up in Canada. Visiting and living in it daily....BIG DIFFERENCE!
But I'll take the cold verses the hot South Carolina summers.

Welcome to the forum...it's a great journey and I still enjoy it every day...I am envious though, you get to enjoy all the fun of acquiring lots of different shave gear...noticed you mentioned that you have some old razors to restore, are you finding you like any particular kind, i.e., W&B, Filarmonica, Japanese, Swedish style/brand of razors?

    Hey! Long time no sprechen.....lol

I have picked a few more W&B and some other Sheffield straight razors.... I am still planning on working on the one W&B some of the guys said the it was a crappy reground. ( You know the background on that).... I did start sanding on it some...... Looks a lot better.... Going to take my time with it and the others. I will want advice on to which one or ones to send out to get a pro job on them in the future. Val does some great work from seeing the ones he done of yours.

A couple of them I am liking the shaves off of...... Dubl Duck special #1, C.V.Heljestrand # 24, Joseph Allen & Sons Non XLL, and a "Wade, Wingfield & Rowbotham" Straight Razor. I'm enjoying all these. I can't wait til I get to use the Sheffield SRs.
