Thanked: 0Hey!
I thought I should say hello since I just registered. I have been lurking for a little while to learn because I just started wet shaving. I find this forum interesting and decided to join, and thank everybody for the library of knowledge that exists on this website.

Hello, Wynfrid, and welcome to Straight Razor Place. You'll find the neighborhood friendly and the members helpful. Whether you choose the double edge razor or the straight razor, we are here to guide you along. Please do all the research necessary on the forum, and beyond that, please ask questions.

Thanked: 0Oops, I should have said what I am using and experience. I currently have a Dovo Shavette and a Merkur 42C closed comb safety razor. I have only wet shaved twice, second time no drawing any blood, with my shavette. I plan to use the Merkur 42C next. In the meantime I have been researching straight razors, which is how I found this forum. Such a wealth of no nonsense information here, and will do Obie.

Welcome aboard! lots of good folks here. Make sure and ask any questions you have. At worst you will get a link to where it is already discussed, but chances are someone will roger up and lead you along the path.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.
