Greeting from Great Falls, VA!
Hey everybody,
My name is Ben from Great Falls, VA., right outside of DC. After lurking the forums for the last year trying to find information on an old Henckels, a Wostenholm, and a Boker I found in my grandmothers attic, I finally decided to join and wanted to introduce myself. I should be receiving my first shave ready straight edge tomorrow, a 6/8 Ralf Aust from Lynn at SRD. I'm really excited to finally be taking the plunge and learning how to shave from such a wonderful and supportive community. I'm sure I'll have a million questions along the way, but It's good to know I have somewhere to turn to for advice. Thanks!

It sounds like you are on the right path - reading the library.
