Welcome to SRP!
If you haven't done so already, read through the Beginner's Section in the Library. It should answer a lot of your questions. And feel free to ask any questions that you have along the way. Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead - Charles Bukowski

You might want to do a search in the membership files for NJ, Edison and environs members. There might be a senior member or Mentor near you for a series of one-on-one sessions. Up-tick on the learning curve that way with immediate feedback. Make sure you do at least read the FAQs. That can lead to more specific reading.

Thanked: 4826So many of us have never "learned" to shave no matter what method we started with. It does take a little to learn to shave with a straight razor. The above advice is good. Welcome to the forum, you can study the previous post and learn there too, as well as post questions. TH e search engine is your friend.

Hi and welcome. Best bet is just to start somewhere and follow your nose. There is a lifetime supply of information here on just about anything shaving related and beyond. Start with the basics of lather, stropping and shaving and work from there. Good luck and any questions feel free to ask
