    Hi there,

    I'm very new to straight razor shaving but I have been collecting and using various vintage pieces for some time. A few of my other hobbies include fountain pens, high-end electronic cigarettes, motorbicycling (which I don't do anymore unfortunately), and anything computer related. I am a tech by trade and my skills range from your average web/graphic design to networking and hardware assembly (building servers). These days the majority of my workload consists of setting up, maintaining, and designing for laser engraving. I have a lovely lady and a gorgeous little one who is turning 3 soon. My family takes the majority of my time and I wouldn't have it any other way, but I do love my hobbies so you guys get all my leftovers =P

    Well, that's me in a nutshell, glad to be here

    Make sure you read through the beginner's section in the library to help with the basic questions. Feel free to post any questions that you have. There are a good number of members in California, so maybe you can meet up with one of them to help you get going faster.

    And remember, don't look at the laser with your remaining good eye.
